This modern family home was designed to utilise natural light all year round. The clients’ brief was to create ‘a warm family home’ and this is embodied in the hub of the house, the cosy galley kitchen which is central to the living area.
The parents retreat is a peaceful oasis and is cleverly separated from the main bedrooms by the main living area and kitchen.
This home features high raked ceilings throughout the living area and highlight louvres provide excellent cross ventilation - perfect for our Queensland summers. The use of light and space and a clever layout ensures that this 263m2 floor plan feels like a much larger home.
The exterior of this modern family home is clad in Scyon Matrix panels, FC sheeting and corrugated iron.
